THE EFFERSAN BUYER’S GUIDE

Which EfferSan tablet size do you need?

“100 count” tells you how many tablets are in a bottle. It doesn’t tell you how large each tablet is. Check both numbers before you reorder.

Start with tablet weight and bottle count

EfferSan is offered in more than one tablet size. The manufacturer’s product page includes both 4 g and 17.68 g options, including 100-count bottles. Two listings can therefore say “EfferSan, 100 tablets” while describing different products. A familiar brand name or similar bottle photograph is not enough to confirm the match.

Sanitizer Depot sells one size: 100 tablets, 17.68 grams per tablet, manufacturer part number 17686. If that matches the bottle you already use, you are looking at the right size here. If your current bottle says 4 g, pause and check its directions before changing products.

Can a larger tablet replace several smaller ones?

Do not turn the weight difference into a mixing instruction. The number of tablets needed depends on the tablet size, water volume, intended application, and directions for that product. A tablet count copied from a guide for another size is not a reliable starting point.

Use the label supplied with your bottle to choose the dilution and preparation method. If an online chart and your container differ, ask the manufacturer for clarification rather than averaging the instructions or guessing at a substitution. This guide helps you choose a bottle; it does not replace its use directions.

Does 100 count mean 100 gallons?

No fixed solution yield follows from the tablet count alone. Sanitizing and disinfecting can call for different concentrations, and the intended application matters. “Makes more gallons” is only a useful comparison when both products are being prepared for the same labeled task at the same required concentration.

For the same reason, compare price per tablet only after matching tablet weight. A cheaper 100-count bottle of smaller tablets is not automatically a better value for your intended use.

Your quick reorder checklist

  1. Read your current bottle. Find the tablet weight rather than relying on its appearance.
  2. Confirm the count. This listing is one bottle containing 100 tablets.
  3. Match the part number. Look for 17686 when buying this 17.68 g bottle.
  4. Review the directions. Confirm your intended application is covered on the product label.
  5. Check the order quantity. Two bottles would mean two of the same size, not a different tablet formulation.
